The 4 French Brothers group: Needham, William, Solomon & Benjamin • Comments? Corrections? Additions? Please write. |
This is a fairly large but poorly documented family. Today, it is among the 5th largest Parrott families, accounting for about 5%, or 1 out of every 20 living Parrotts in the US. Family lore is that the founding members came from France to fight in the Revolutionary War. However, one ancestor, John d in North Carolina ca 1761, so the family origin must be questioned. This information is provided to help others in their research on this family. However, it has had very little reconstruction work done, and many branches are still missing, and most of the information has not been verified, so use the information presented here very cautiously.
